New for 2009 – (1748-1465) Index to Theses is changing its committed publication cycle to ensure that
customers to the online service benefit from increased updates. From 2009 the online service will be
updated MONTHLY, whilst the print product will publish twice a year,
with abstracts available on accompanying CD-ROM.

the Royal Society of Medicine Press has decided to cease production of this publication from the end of 2008.

Delivery Address:
Subscription agents should supply the name and address of the subscribers, even if the delivery is through a consolidation address. To ensure online access please supply the Internet Protocol (IP) address where applicable.

Please make cheques payable to PORTLAND CUSTOMER SERVICES. Sterling cheques must be drawn on UK banks, US Dollar cheques can be drawn on either US or UK banks and Euro cheques must be drawn on EU banks.

Claims:
Claims for non-receipt must be made within 3 months of expected publication. Claims received after this period will not be fulfilled.
Cancellations:
Accepted less single-issue price for issues already sent except:
Royal Society - in case of genuine error, reported within 30 days from receipt of first issue, any money paid will be refunded in full and the subscription cancelled. After this time no refund allowed.
Additional Postage for Priority Delivery Aims:
Additional postage can be paid to ensure the following delivery aims for Western Europe, 2-3 days and Rest of World, 5-7 days.
Continuity:
To ensure continuity of despatch of journals each year, payment should reach PCS by 1 December. Agents and booksellers are responsible for the continuity of orders placed through them.
Online Grace Period:
Online grace periods differ per publisher for online journals. Therefore to ensure continuity of online access payment should reach PCS by 1 December.
Terms of Online Access:
Generally Institutional prices for online subscriptions allow online access by authorized users on one contiguous campus community and network. Full terms and conditions of usage are available on the relevant journal website.
Usage Statistics:
Journals hosted on the Portland Customer Services Sirius platform are COUNTER compliant;
all library usage reports conform to COUNTER code of practice. Journals published by Portland Press, IWA Publishing, Expert Information, Antiquity Publications and Earthscan are hosted on the Sirius platform.
Value Added Tax (VAT): Our VAT number is GB 523 2392 69.
UK Agents: VAT is due at the appropriate rate on all sales to agents within the UK,
unless we have been supplied with details clearly identifying an end user address outside of both the UK and EU.
EU Agents:
VAT will not be charged to agents within the EU where the agents VAT number is clearly stated on all orders.
If no VAT number is given VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate.
Non EU Agents:
VAT will be charged on supplies to UK subscribers only.
VAT on Electronic Journals:
Will be charged where applicable at 15% of the subscription price.
VAT on Combined Journals:
Will be charged where applicable at 15% on a percentage of the total price.
The relevant percentages differ according to the individual publisher and title.
The amount of VAT is shown on the online price list.
