Portland Press to publish a new Open Access journal
American Society for Neurochemistry chooses Portland Press Limited to publish its new journal ASN NEURO.
ASN NEURO will be launched in 2009 as an Open Access journal to further the Society's mission to advance, promote, support, encourage and facilitate communication among investigators in the cellular and molecular neuroscience community.

Portland Customer Services and Professional Engineering Publishing Ltd sign journal fulfilment agreement
Portland Customer Services is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to provide journal subscription fulfilment on behalf of Professional Engineering Publishing Ltd. This agreement will take effect with the renewal of journal subscriptions for 2008.
Professional Engineering Publishing Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). It publishes a range of 17 scholarly journals, 3 magazines and other products across a variety of subjects of interest to the international engineering community. 15 journals are grouped within the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers , each with its own identity, international editorial board, and separately available and a new title, Journal of Sports Engineering Technology (Part P) will be launched in 2008.

Biochemical Journal video webcast available free to subscribers
Portland Press and the Biochemical Journal are pleased to announce that the video webcast of the Biochemical Journal Centenary Symposium which took place in July 2006
is now available as part of the online journal. Access to over five and a half hours of video is available to institutional subscribers to the Biochemical Journal and members of the Biochemical Society providing a valuable teaching resource on key areas of biochemistry and cell and molecular biology.

Portland Press Journals to increase in frequency in 2007
Clinical Science will increase from 12 to 24 online issues in 2007, offering even faster access to the latest research. Clinical Science publishes articles relating to human health and disease, particularly that which explores integrative biology of systems and pathways and the translation of molecular mechanisms to clinical applications.
Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry will increase in frequency from 9 to 12 online issues in 2007 providing essential reading for all academic and commercial biotechnologists, and tissue and chemical engineers.
Portland Press signs exclusive agent agreement with USACO Corporation
